     This beautifully color print is from an original hand drawing by Roben Taglienti. This image was faithful created from the story of the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe, using colored markers to imitate a stained-glass window. This original work of art required great attention to details and patience, as watercolor markers can be unforgiving. The artist carefully selected the colors and blended them to create this vibrant and rich image with shadows and depth.
The Virgen de Guadalupe is an important religious and popular symbol across Central and South America. The artist took great care with the details of this beautiful image of an indigenous young woman dress like a queen, with the sun behind her, the moon at her feet.
