I love to create “Day of the Dead” art in an original and unique way, injecting my very personal style creating catrina’s and skulls for the celebration of the “Day of the Dead”. I look to create unique and expressive skeletal characters with pen and pencil, sometimes taking an idea from a figurine acquired or seen in a Mexican artisan market.  For some I create a “frame” for the character based on the traditional Mexican or scene from a Mexican town.  The result is art that pays tribute to a celebration that is so important in Mexican culture and is a Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
